Streets were designed by men, for men. So 99 looked at the city through a different lens, amplifying women's voices with a campaign for safer, more welcoming cities.
To amplify the conversation, female drivers and passengers were celebrated with murals painted by women artists in their own neighborhoods. During the day, the artworks tell stories. At night, they illuminate the streets, making the city feel safer and more welcoming.
